Hi, I'm Rebecca, HCI PhD student at the University of California Santa Cruz.

About Me

I'm a PhD student in Computational Media at the University of California Santa Cruz. My research focuses on Human-Computer Interaction, specifically on how the design of interactive technologies can change attitudes and behaviors. I like to combine aspects of computer science, psychology, and design to develop technologies that can address complex intrapersonal and social issues. In particular, I am interested in how technology can promote open-mindedness and self-efficacy on a personal level.

Besides research, I love to hike, cook good food, and travel unreasonable distances for a good cup of coffee.
